Yes, any group of 10 or more people will require a booking. Please email the pool at woreepool@gmail.com (mailto:woreepool@gmail.com)with the details and one of our friendly staff will get back to you. Parties or functions not booked may be refused entry upon arrival.

Concession entry is accepted for Seniors card holders, Disability (Companion) card holders, Qld Pension Concession card holders and DVA card holders.

Yes, we accept Fitness Passport holders. Make sure you have the app to check yourself in as the scanners have been discontinued.

Yes, we accept Swimstart Vouchers. These are for swim lessons for children under 5yrs. Play On vouchers are also accepted by the Cairns Stingrays Swim Club for membership. Play On vouchers can't be used for swim lessons. Eligibility applies

Food can only be bought in with prior approval. No soft drink, alcohol or glass is allowed under any circumstances. The facility reserves the right to confiscate any food or drink that hasn't received prior approval.

Children under 14yrs must accompanied and supervised by an adult. Children over 14yrs are allowed entry without being accompanied by an adult.

No we don't have lockers. Bring only minimal belongings into the facility with you and leave them in your sight.

Yes, our 50m pool is heated from approximately May to September. Due to heating the 50m pool our smaller outside pools will be emptied and closed during this time.

Our small outside play pools are emptied for winter, which enables us to heat the 50m pool. We will usually empty the small play pools towards the end of April and reopen them in early September. This is an approx. time as the decision is very weather dependent. However, our 50m pool and Indoor pool remain open all year round.

Yes, our 50m pool is 2/3's covered from the deepend. Our play pools are also covered in sections. During the winter period (May to Sept) the shade sail will be retracted from the 50m pool to allow the sun to heat the pool naturally.

Ahh.... the million-dollar question. Generally, most days between 9am - 3pm will be the quietest time. We may have lane allocations from time to time for particular programs but there are always lap lanes available to the public.
